Birmingham born and now based in Brixton, SW London, Seechay (pronounced See-Chay) is a songwriter and musician. Growing up in the 1980's he was originally inspired by John Taylor (Duran Duran) and Bernard Edwards (Chic). Taking bass lessons just moments from Duran Duran's original base, the legendary Rum Runner nightclub, his destiny was set. Fast forward to today and Seechay is writing for himself and others. Whilst not limiting himself to any one genre when collaborating, his own creations nod to the soul, disco and house sounds he grew up with. Using a mixture of home recording techniques with live studio sessions his style forges 21st Century themes and styles with the excitement and energy forged from his influences.
